contains a selection of bottles which have been produced for various
schools.
More and more schools are using
our water bottles for each pupil due to the national Water is Cool
in School Campaign run by the children's medical charity, ERIC.
This campaign aims to raise awareness of the health benefits to
children of drinking water regularly throughout the school day and
to improve the quality of provision and access to fresh drinking
water in UK primary and secondary schools. Scientific evidence shows
that even mild dehydration contributes to a range of short and long-term
health problems and can result in a significant deterioration in
mental performance.
Public Health experts advise that water bottles should be cleaned
daily in hot soapy water, rinsed well and allowed to drip dry. Or
wash bottles in a dish washer. For optimal hygiene, soak bottles
regularly in sterilising solution.
